Chad Rykal

Since joining CR-BPS in 2015, Chad has assumed a leadership role in the company, now serving as Vice President and Business Director. Chad’s extensive experience–in both architecture and business–has proven invaluable to our clients. Charged with directing sales, marketing, and client relations, Chad has played a vital role in our growth trajectory in both the public and private sector. He truly meets client expectations on every project he manages. With over ten years of experience in the field of architecture, Chad’s passion for sustainable and high performance design makes him a perfect fit for our clients. Chad also serves as a professor in the Construction Program at the University of Wisconsin, Stout.

Chad holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Community Development from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls. He is a member of several organizations, including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), U.S. Green Building Council, International Facility Management Association, Passive House, Minnesota Facilitators Network, American Public works Association, Energy Services Coalition, and Urban Land Institute.

Chad has a bumper sticker on his car that reads: Outside Everyday. Whether hiking or biking, Chad does try to spend time outdoors every day. His favorite hiking trail is the Greenstone Ridge Trail on Isle Royale in Lake Superior.
