BIM Specialist and Assessor

Kaija Roy

Kaija joined CR-BPS in 2019 to support technical projects and assist in facility and site assessments. Kaija is experienced in developing electronic, 3D Building Information Modeling systems (BIM) for CR-BPS, making it easy for clients to track a building or site’s potential, barriers, and special needs. This is tremendously helpful when planning, designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining a diverse physical infrastructure.

Kaija holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Bemidji State University where she gained valuable field research and data analysis experience, working in collaboration with the Minnesota DNR to analyze endangered aquatic plant life.

When not working on CR-BPS projects, Kaija engages in a variety of hobbies and interests, which she says, “make every day interesting.” Kaija enjoys baking, spending time with her cats, and playing video games. She also loves to hike and challenge herself by running just a little bit faster and longer every week. Of special note, Kaija completed her first Ultramarathon in October 2020.
