City of Superior Municipal Service Building – Superior, Wisconsin
Forensic Investigation and Design Review Analysis
After completing a comprehensive Facility & Site Asset Management Program (FSAM), CR-BPS was hired by the City of Superior, Wisconsin, to complete a follow-up Forensic Investigation and Design Review Analysis of the Municipal Service Building. Our forensic investigation included an analysis of the superstructure, exterior enclosure, and vehicle lifts/hoists to determine the integrity of these systems. The Design Review Analysis compared five exterior enclosure options in a side-by-side format to help the City of Superior decide which option would best improve the efficiency and durability of the building’s envelope and show how each option addressed the air, thermal and vapor control layers; roof surface ventilation; and the durability of exterior siding. The results of our investigation provided the City of Superior with a simple comparison of five systems for ease of decision-making.
