ASHRAE Level I Energy Audit for the Waterloo Technology Center.

CR-BPS completed an ASHRAE Level I energy audit and energy model for the Waterloo Technology Center in Waterloo, Wisconsin. The results helped secure financing through the Wisconsin Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program for building energy improvements.
An ASHRAE Level I audit includes a preliminary analysis of energy use and a walkthrough assessment by an independent third party. This project was among the first in Wisconsin and the first in Jefferson County to use PACE financing.
Energy Modeling and Conservation Opportunities
Alongside the energy audit, CR-BPS developed a basic energy model to evaluate the impact and potential savings of Energy Conservation Opportunities (ECOs). The analysis considered improvements already completed and those planned for the future.
The model established an energy consumption baseline calibrated to the building’s current operations. CR-BPS then compared this baseline with projected energy use after the planned improvements.
