Facility Condition Assessment
CR-BPS was hired by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to provide Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) for 575 MnDOT buildings across the State of Minnesota. The data CR-BPS collected were reported using the State of Minnesota’s Field Forms (score sheets), with established UniFormat classification of all present systems, cost models, quantities, condition ratings, energy consuming systems and “notes” that described conditions and explained recommendations. An Executive Summary Report summarized all findings and highlighted priority deficiencies with supporting photo documentation. Information will be imported into the State’s FCA Management tool – ARCHIBUS – and used in short- and long-term capital planning.
